Gordon Ramsey: how NOT to cook!

by Jenise » Mon Sep 10, 2007 1:05 pm

News flash (pun absolutely intended):

TV Chef Gordon Ramsay needed urgent hospital treatment after burning his meat and two veg.The F-Word and Hell's Kitchen star rushed to London's private Cromwell Hospital after roasting his sensitive parts. Ramsay, 40, said: "I burnt my right b*****k and I'm in absolute agony. "You wouldn't believe how much this hurts." [...] "The other day I was standing too close to the hob when I was cooking. "I was wearing cotton trousers and underneath I was going commando." "Then suddenly I felt this searing heat - my b***s were burning."

Cynthia, what the world really wants to know is: did you have to look up "going commando"?

I did.

Great Balls of Fire!

It's all a big fib according a lady in a position to know!

London, England (CNS) - Scottish celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's wife has revealed that her husband's claim that he burned his testicles while cooking in his kitchen was a lie. Speaking on ITV daytime television program, "This Morning," Tara Ramsay said that the F-word star just made up the story when asked about his recent visit to the hospital.

During an appearance at the GQ awards last week, the TV star told The Sun how he was cooking in his kitchen without underwear and heat from an oven caught his private parts.

"We were at an awards that night and the moment we stepped out, he was questioned on it. You could see he was just brimming with excitement at the fact, "I know what I'm going to say, I burnt it," Tara said, adding that the TV star had gone to the hospital for a dull ache in one of his testicles.

"You know Gordon, it's a red rag to a bull, he gets really excited at the story he can make up," she said.

Ramsay is best known in the United States as the host of Fox's Hell's Kitchen.
