This aromatic grape from Northeastern Italy makes one of the few Italian whites with really individual character, and I only wish there were more of it floating around the U.S. It's best drunk young, and this one-year-old model certainly passes that test. It's a very pale straw color. Highly aromatic, typical of the varietal, musky melon and pine. Full and bright flavors follow the nose, pleasant mixed fruit and conifers, clean and consistent in a long finish. Importer: Vin Divino Ltd., Chicago.
