Nigl 1993 Kremstal (Austria) Urgensteins-Riesling Senftenberger Piri ($16.99)
Clear straw color. Delicious Riesling aroma, citric with piney and mineral notes. Full, bright and bone-dry on the palate, clean citric fruit (evokes tangerines), flavors consistent with the nose. Tart and fresh citric flavors persist in a long finish. Importer: Milton S. Kronheim & Co., Inc., Washington, D.C., a Terry Theise Estate Selection. (Sept. 23, 1997)

All my wine-tasting reports are consumer-oriented. In order to maintain objectivity and avoid conflicts of interest, I purchase all the wines I rate at my own expense in retail stores.
