This white Burgundy from one of the villages of Macon-Villages is a clear straw color, with fresh apple aromas, clean and bright; apple fruit shows on the palate, crisp and tart, straightforward Chardonnay fruit without oak or winemaking tricks. FOOD MATCH: Fine with pork chops sauteed with garlic.

All my wine-tasting reports are consumer-oriented. In order to maintain objectivity and avoid conflicts of interest, I purchase all the wines I rate at my own expense in retail stores.
