Penfolds 1994 Bin 389 South Australia Cabernet Sauvignon/54% - Shiraz/46% ($16.99)
Very dark blackish-ruby color. Blackcurrant, tar and smoke and spicy oak aromas. Flavors follow the nose, warm and ripe black fruit, well structured with lemon-squirt acidity and firm but accessible tannins. Importer: Southcorp Wines North America, Monterey, Calif. (Aug. 29, 1997)
