Gallerie 1994 "Cave du Mistral" Vin de Pays de l'Herault ($6.49)
If you come to this one expecting Cabernet character, you'll be deeply disappointed. But as a picnic wine, fresh and fruity and soft, it's not bad at all. Clear garnet color with a bright violet hue. Very slight aroma, faint red fruit. Better in the flavor department, fresh and fruity, a touch off-dry. A good Beaujolais-style quaffer, but the only hint of Cabernet I find is on the label.
