Faustino VII Cosecha 1995 Rioja ($6.99)
Clear ruby color. Good black-fruit and oaky vanillin aromas. Ripe, juicy fruit flavor, consistent with the nose, fresh and tart. On the light side for a Rioja, but perfectly balanced and refreshing, with the stuffing to last a few years in the bottle. Excellent value. Importer: Palm Bay Imports Inc., Boca Raton, Fla.
