Marie-Louise Parisot 1995 Côtes du Rhone ($5.99)Dark garnet color. Fragrant black pepper aromas float over exuberant strawberry fruit. Ripe, juicy and lemony-tart on the palate, it's fresh yet structured. Reminiscent of a Beaujolais with its freshness, but it's got a whole lot more attitude. Excellent value in a quaffing red, reminds me very much of buying cheap, lusty Cotes-du-Rhones in Paris bistros. U.S. importer: Louisville Crown, Louisville, Ky. (April 28, 1998) FOOD MATCH: Went well with chicken breasts sauteed with caramelized onions and topped with tangy Spanish Roncal cheese.
