Weingut Familie Zull Kabinett 1995 Riede Seeleiter Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel-Österreich ($9.99)Clear light-gold in color, this fine Austrian wine shows musky honeydew-melon aromas backed by a whiff of the appealing mineral-stony quality that seems characteristic of Austrian whites. Full, crisp and tart on the palate, flavors follow the nose, opening up in a burst of layered fruit. Bone dry and really delicious, it rates as a best buy. U.S. importer: Milton S. Kronheim & Co. Inc., Washington, D.C.; a Terry Theise Estate Selection. (April 17, 1998) FOOD MATCH: Omelet filled with fresh spinach and Spanish Roncal cheese. I find the minerally Austrian whites make an exceptional match with egg entrees.
