Cline 1995 Carneros Syrah ($12.99)
Inky dark reddish-purple. Luxuriant raspberry aroma, so full and ripe it's amazing. Mouth-filling flavor, jammy fresh fruit and sweet oak, a bit on the simple side but a good quaff. (April 7, 1998)

FOOD MATCH: Pan-grilled lamb chops.
