Duas Quintas Adriano Ramos-Pinto 1995 Duas Quintas Douro (Portugal) Vinho Tinto ($8.99)
Inky dark blackish-purple. Plummy, dark fruit aromas, full and tart; sharp acidity surrounding soft black fruit. Zingy acidity persists in a very long finish. U.S. importer: Maisons Marques & Domaines USA, Inc., Oakland, Calif. (April 5, 1999)

FOOD MATCH: Very tasty match with a hearty lamb stew on a chilly spring evening.

All my wine-tasting reports are consumer-oriented. In order to maintain objectivity and avoid conflicts of interest, I purchase all the wines I rate at my own expense in retail stores.
