Chateau Rocher Bellevue Figeac 1995 St.-Émilion Grand Cru ($19.95)Slightly hazy garnet color. Delicious black-cherry and mixed-berry aromas with a spicy hint of cloves. Full, juicy and bright, fruit flavors follow the nose. Soft tannins are present but nearly concealed by the forward fruit. Very approachable, showing its typical Right Bank construction of 70 percent Merlot. U.S. importer: Seagram Chateau & Estate Wines Co., NYC. (Jan. 18, 1999)
FOOD MATCH: Perfect with roast leg of lamb.
