Very exotic meaty/cinnamon/clove/roasted strawberry-cobbler nose. A tad bit hot. Reduced strawberry/cherry flavors and spice with a really long finish. Ample structure from fine tannins and acidity but everything is kept in balance. Quite impressive for what I imagine amounts to a village wine. Good stuff.

Has anyone else had this wine? How about the producer -- I think it''s Frederic''s father if I''m not mistaken. Good reputation or not -- any scoop?
