Meet Gavin Trott Gavin Trott has had very wide experience in the wine industry, firstly in Australia, and more recently in the world of Internet Wine Retailing. He has been a wine wholesaler/distributor in South Australia, the center of the Australian wine industry. He also was a wine exporter, but then he discovered the Internet in its very early days. The potential this medium had for wine became clear and so he started the Australian Wine Centre web site, which he runs to this day. He now runs a new U.S.-based store, The Wine Center, which, although it stocks the full range of wines available, still has an Australian leaning. After all, an Aussie runs it! He also published a newsletter about Australian wine for a number of years, until time restraints meant he had to stop.
