Food and Wine Writers' Forum
This is an experimental forum, opened on the basis of a few conversations with fellow writers who thought it might be interesting to set up an online community for people who write about food and wine (and related subjects like travel and other leisure activities), people who would like to do so, and people who are simply interested in writing, as journalism or as literature.

Subject matter might range from discussions of good markets for free-lance writing to insider tips on how to approach an editor and propose a story, to hands-on discussions among peers about the craft of writing and how to do it well.

We'll begin with a wide and casual definition of what's on-topic and see how things go. Your comments and suggestions will help shape the forum, and we look forward to that.

Like all the WineLoversPage.com forums, we welcome participants and enforce few firm rules. However, we discourage "flaming" (uncivil personal attacks) or "spam" (unsolicited advertising messages). This is a moderated forum, and messages that violate these simple rules will be quickly moved out of public view.
