Wine Magnets Redux

by ClarkDGigHbr » Sun Feb 04, 2007 4:46 pm

Remember the discussions last year about wine magnets? Well, I just happened to find an IWA catalog laying around the house, and sure enough, they have a wine magnet product for sale. It is called The Amazing Wine Clip and it sells for $34.95.

But wait  ... look very carefully at the photo of this device. You will see that it actually has a arrow on it, indicating the direction of the wine pour.

I just wonder how many poor souls accidentally ruined a perfectly good bottle of wine by installing their Amazing Wine Clip with the arrow in the wrong direction.

Thanks, Clark. I never noticed that arrow before. No wonder the magnets haven't been working for me. Thanks for the tip.

Of course, as soon as you tip the bottle the arrow will be pointing in a new direction. It's really not a wine magnet but an IQ test...

So if you have the arrow the wrong way around, does that make the wine younger? That sounds like a much more useful product that one that merely accelerates the effects of time.
