2004 Stauffer Flomborner Goldberg Müller-Thurgau Trocken Rheinhessen. #30 05 Very ripe tropical fruit nose with citrusy flavors mixed with blanched almonds. Bone dry grapefruit finish with slight acidity and some odd, sour notes that I can't pinpoint. I’m not a big fan.
2003 Bruno Reiss Würzburger Pfaffenberg Scheurebe Spatlese Maindreieck, Franken. Very aromatic, full ripe white peaches and rose water flavors, rich mid-palate, and fairly sweet. It’s a fun drink but it’s a bit too soft.
