Recent miscellany:

2007 Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos
Deep gold color scares me. Taste even more: oxidizing. Bummer.

2003 Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon
Popped and poured. Almost black in the glass. Outstanding and effusive aroma of dark fruit with mint and some redwood forest. Very concentrated dark and primary fruit on the palate with espresso notes that segue into a little cassis tang on the long finish. Good acidity, big tannins. Big wine--hurky, muscular. It's showing everything it has right now, but it can live and evolve on these tannins for another ten years easy.

1998 Château La Louvière Pessac-Léognan
Garnet color/darker than other CT reports from 2012. Good mature Bordeaux flavors, with some fading at the end of the second glass. Time to drink these.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
