WTN: BrickHouse GamayNoir '06...(short/boring)

Tried last night:
1. BrickHouse GamayNoir RibbonRidge (Biodynamic; 14%; www.BrickHouseWines.com) Newberg/OR 2006: Med.dark color w/ fair degree of bricking; rather strong fruity/grapey/strawberry/cherry/Gamay bit earthy some BeaujGC-like bit spicy/pencilly fairly fragrant nose; bit tart some earthy/dusty/loamy bit grapey/strawberry/Gamay/cherry some spicy/pencilly/cedary flavor w/ light/smooth tannins; fairly long strong grapey/fruity/strawberry/Gamay earthy/loamy bit complex finish; still very much alive and ratherr interesting; some like a Julianas GCBeauj; not as bright & pretty as the EdStJ BoneJolly; falls apart in the glass and on its last legs an hour later. $24.00 (LB)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is from DougTunnel's wnry in Oregon. One of the few plantings of true GamayNoir a jus Blanc in the USofA. This used to be quite a pretty Gamay and leaning towards a BeaujGC in character. Was surprised at how rapidly it fell apart in the glass.
