2005 Weingut Heymann-Löwenstein Winninger Uhlen Laubach Riesling Erste Lage - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (5/21/2013)Lots of development in this wine over the last 5 years. The fruit has taken on a roundness, and gained a depth/richness associated with greater palate breadth. On the palate it's all rich apple and tropical fruit with a very subtle sweetness that completes the balance of the wine, rather than coming across as actually sweet. Very easy to drink with or without food.

And it is going to get even better! I am enjoying my 2001s now, preferably after 12h in the decanter!
Greetings from Sweden / Fredrik L
