Had some friends come over to chat and ended up staying to dinner, so we jusr worked our way through a few things I had out on the sideboard, standing in the queue for tasting or taking to lunches soon.
2011 Blue Mountain Gamay Noir - BC wine that was crisp and fruity as expected - always buy a case for the summer in the garden.
1998 Dom. de Marcoux CNduP - continues to please. Drinking at peak now with red fruit and nice spice levels. Smooth.
1997 Clerico Arte - this nebbiolo/barbera blend was drinking beautifully - my friend had asked for just a taste before they left and ended up sitting down to finish the bottle with me. Dark fruit and mellow oak, well structured and the tannins now softening, finishing with clean but proportional acidity. Must try to find my remaining stash of 1996 to try soon.
