This wine is absolutely gorgeous right now. Still plenty of fruit, and softening into pure elegance. Stunning!

Yum, I'm regretting not having bought more 01. I have some Barton but not Poyferré, I think.

What's Poyferre like these days, style-wise? I havent had any vintage younger than the '96.

It's getting more and more modern, but this showed some real classical elegance despite modern touches.
