The 2008 Prentice Pinot Gris from Victoria in Australia was deep amber, alarmingly so but it was quite sound as the previous bottle was, with deep spicey pear flavors and a bracing acidity that was not astringent but balanced the abundant fruit very well. This wine went very well with home made noodles and run-around chicken. I definitely will pick up some more of this one when next in Columbus, Ohio. abv of %13
