gilgal syrah

Hi. Just picked up a bottle of gilgal syrah 2010. Anyone taste it yet ? H

Gamla syrah 2010
I tend to like syrah and this is no exception. Deep purple and an incredible smell. It smells like a BBQ with coal, smoke and seared beef with concentrated pomegranate and blackberries, the slightest bit of black pepper and earthiness. The flavour is full and pretty well balanced with flavour of blackberry jam, creamy vanilla, shitaki mushrooms and a match that has just been blown out. The finish is clean and a bit sweet. A real bargain.
