The 2009 Four Gates Cabernet Sauvignon - WOW!!

In a single word - WOW, I hope I describe and give due credit to the 2009 Four Gates Cabernet Sauvignon. I could not bring myself to lump this wine into the mess that was my PS tasting, so I am placing this one separately.

The wine has started to change with lovely cedar taking the place of oak and date made a short visit! The wine is still very old world with deep loamy dirt, deep acid, and great red and black fruit. Bravo Benyo!

Definitely quite a wine! But why the relatively short drinking window?

Not sure this is a super long lasting wine - time will tell.

Brink a bottle of four gates CF to NY? unless elie has bc yours would be bottle shocked (bs'ed lol) i'll hit you back with some sherry DUDE with a good cork.. DUDE! lol but I never had four gates and elie states the CF is the best

Wasn't impressed by the first bottle that I had so I didn't buy more. Held onto the Syrah & lots of CF
