I took this bottle to a family Thanksgiving supper. There was a fair amount of sediment around the cork, and the taste-it pour was just a bit tart. Pleasant aroma, dark (for PN) cherry color. It reminded me most of its Saralee's Vineyard component.
However, the wine opened up nicely, keeping its tart entry throughout, but a nice mid-palate with a considerable blackberry flavor, and a smooth, soft finish. A good turkey wine.
13.7% alcohol, retail $30 in 2009.
