On a website for home winemakers, one fellow asked where "leather aromas and taste come from". Another wine maker replied "it comes from not taking your shoes off before foot-stomping your grapes".

A slightly related aside - I cracked up reading this. So maybe Dujac's really expensive because it's crushed by naked virgins. (link completely safe for work)
