I started the whole "letting white wines breath" discussion which really had very little to do with Rashaan's post. I should have started a separate thread on that topic. That way those interested would have been able to find it and contribute.

Don't beat up on yourself, Sam ... as Rahsaan points out, thread drift happens, and nobody really minds. As I've told Paul privately, I think the issue here - and it's one that doesn't hurt to air in public, as long as we keep it clean and above the belt - I think he's seeing a little free-market response to his tendency to seize upon just about any opportunity convert many threads to passionate hymns of praise to his favorite topics. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but in a community of peers, it's fair to raise issues like this, as long as we keep it reasonably civil.
