I have been really happy to watch the improvements going on at Barkan and I have really enjoyed their wines. The only mark against their now solid to glowing wine portfolio is the classic series. In the past two years, the classic series wines have become undrinkable. They are prune like and overcooked, in my opinion. I know there are many who love them, but I cannot find my way to their side.

They seem to know how to make red wines. But whites are just one big failure imho.
