"Investigative Joiurnalism" on bacon

Not really. Just another demonstration of gluttonus baconus this time with a Tokyo twist:

Great pic.

"Joiurnalism" = getting paid for writing for eating bacon? Works for me. :D

Hoke, I meant to ask... how are you achieving wine immortality?

That would be Jenise's descriptor, not mine, Jeff.

I think it was chosen as more dignified than "He sure drinks a lot."

I had been wondering whether it had anything to do with a, ahem, preservative effect that alcohol might have when, ahem, taken internally.

Oh my!

Even as a dedicated bacon maven, that sort of excess stirs more horror than admiration in me!

I am (relatively) speechless.

Ugh. That hurts just to think about.

We were at a place here in town that offers a 5 lb. burger with the bonus of a t-shirt and photo on the "Wall of Fame" if you can one within 45 minutes. I think I'd be dead if I managed that.

Letterman asked Zevon if his condition had taught him anything about life and death. ''How much you're supposed to enjoy every sandwich,'' Zevon answered. (From a 2003 NYTimes article on Zevon by Jon Pareles.)
