Waldstaetterhof Hotel, Brunnen

I had dinner at this place the other evening, on the eastern shore of lake Lucerne, pretty place between the St Gotthard tunnel and Zurich.

If you read about the hotel's history everyone who's anyone has stayed or eaten there, Queen Victoria, Herman Hesse, Churchill and now myself.

I had a nice mushroom soup and the local lake fish with an asparagus risotto, very tasty, in the restaurant overlooking the lake. About CHF 50.
