this is a very interesting tasting done by the boston globe - 50 wines under $10 to pick the best 'plonk' in the world. what i find most interesting is that with all the oversupply of wine in CA and AUSTRALIA, how could at least some of the top wines come from there? here is the story:

Agree with David's comments, but there is some stuff on there of interest. You can download a printer friendly three page summary, and this is recommended.
