predictions - 2006er - RIESLING - Mosel-Saar-Ruwer

How wanted here the predictions for the Riesling 2006 / Germany / Mosel-Saar-Ruwer

Winemaker Michael Winkel/ Kellermeister

- up to the flourishing of the vines the development was slightly delayed

- after that through warm nights > development very quickly upwards

- the hottest July in Germany are the recording of the weather registration > also dryness

- first water mangle in the good vineyards, compensated for with the last 14 days of rain and normaly temperatures

- Further development of the vines: BEST CONDITIONS through the long maturity time until November in

- Tendency: in an above average way good!! possibly comparable with 2003

THESE INFORMATION REFER TO THE GERMAN RIESLING!!! Today evaluated of the "Wiltinger Kupp" & "Wiltinger Scharzberg" MSR

Ruth/Michael.

Great news so more wine to put away in the cellar and drink in 15 years!!!I believe in cellaring M-S-R for at least 10 years, the good ones. Rheingau even longer!!!
