2003 Kenwood Cabernet Sauvignon, Jack London Vineyard, Sonoma
I must admit that I have not had a Kenwood wine in the last 7 or 8 years and if this bottle is any indication, that was a wise decision on my part. Rather simple and straight forward. Under fruited. But the most annoying part of this wine was the prominent alcohol. Well it really was more than an annoyance, it was more like nose-hair singeing. Unbalanced and definitely not recommended.

Lots of hot vintages these days....

Used to be a fan of the Jack London rusticity, but not so much any more. In fact I so rarely see these wines around I wasn't sure Kenwood still made them.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
