WTN: 2004 Vincent Dureuil-Janthal Rully "En Rosey" Bourgogne France. 13% alcohol. $27.00 Beekman, Glen Rock, NJ. Imported by Michael Skurnik Wines, Syosset NY.

Deep red color, deep hue, rather simple aroma of fruit and spice, hints of earth, very good tastes of fruit and spice with earthen notes, medium mouth feel, excellent balance of light acidity and mild tannins, long finish with fruit, spice and earth notes. Excellent match with roasted salmon and green beans. 3*+.

Importer's note: "The nose presents a ginger infused pie crust odor, backed up by curry and red fruits. Faint hints of smoke round out the aroma. This spicy red is accented by ripe candied blueberries and some baked earth."
