Holy sh** this wine is incredible. Im in the middle of tasting it now. Its the intensity of this wine that makes it just an absolute killer. Its deep, brooding, persistant and unending. The mousse is soft and fine, the acid is young and prickly and I detect a good amount of aged chardonnay in this blend from the rich flavors of lemony cream and hazelnut. Definitely less Pinot Meunier in this wine than the grand cuvee, a wine which im frankly not that fond of as I have serious intolerance for a predominance of pinot meunier in blends of champagne. All in all a superb champagne with years ahead of it. One of the best Ive ever tasted.
