Didier Dagueneau died.

Giaconda is the sole importer of Didier Dagueneau's wines in Israel and we are in a total shock.

Didier was more than a great vintner. He was one of the true independent spirits, not at all a left over from the ''60s,but an original in every way, a person who would simultaneously infuriate and woo you. And he was infectious, for every time you met him he let you with "things to think about" well until the next meeting.

In every way a tragic loss.

In sadness

Truth. 100%.
We were lucky enough to spend a lovely afternoon with him and his lovely son.
