Wine Shipping

Postby B Kessler » Tue Aug 05, 2008 5:31 am

Hi. Has anyone used these wine bottle shippers? http://www.uline.com/ProductDetail.asp? ... 9&ref=5450

I am thinking of bringing some wine back from a future trip in the USA by putting a few of these in my suitcase.

Thanks!

Bill, Hi...

These and other styrofoam containers are fine for shipping but even though lightweight they are somewhat bulky and take up a good deal of space in luggage. An equally safe way to ship and far less "space-eating" is to purchase plastic bubble wrap, to wrap the bottles well and seal with masking tape or scotch tape. Bubble wrap is available quite inexpensively at nearly every homewares store (e.g. Ace) and hardware store.
