British Columbia

I handed Bob a glass blind. He smelled, he sipped. "So this is a syrah", he said. That sums it up.

Ouch!

I didn't think the 2001 vintage in the Okanagan could result in an overripe Pinot (or any other red)!?!

John, it's not overripe, it's just overly extracted and structured. Very masculine in a way that pinot usually isn't.
