I bought a condiment once that was imported from China. According to the label it was produced by the "China National Native Produce and Animal By-product Import and Export Corporation" (catchy name, that). One of the ingredients listed on the label was "monosodium grutamate".

Funny stuff, but FYI not all from China. The "Robster" sign has Korean hangul, while "Rocking Elmo" has Japanese written on the box. "Make Yourself Fucking Lovely" is from Seoul as far as I know.

Alex, you not only beat me to the punch on the "Robster" sign, but also brought up another interesting point about the clothing store being in Seoul. Yeah, so the "Thanksgiving Day" lobsters sale is the fourth pict, right? I figure it has to be a Korean American sign, because it says "$ 6.99" and then "LB"

I have a brother in law who went to China and during his stay happened to tour a food processing plant. While there he noticed a sign with instructions at a hand-washing station, and felt compelled to photograph it in order to prove that the internet rumors are true - these mistranslations do occur. The final English phrase in the hand-washing instructions was "Fuck the hand," shown directly beneath an illustration depicting drying hands under a hot air blower.
