Yariv, Hi…

I'm afraid that the wines of Feudo di Marano are not known to me. Following though is my not-at-all encouraging tasting note for the Simi wine.

Simi, Chardonnay, Sonoma, 2006: Not much here and certainly not typical of Chardonnay. Light- to medium-bodied, light damp straw in color with stewed apple, pear and grapey notes. Lacks acidity and balance. Drinkable but not at all interesting. Drink up. Score 78. (Tasted 11 Feb 2008)

Hi Yariv,

Found this: "And the winner is: Amarone Feudo di Marano 2004 Valpolicello Classico DOC from Denner CHF 21.90 instead 29.90. Intense fruit flavors and lots of vanilla, intense body with soft but present tannins, long-lasting pallet and not too much alcohol. A great wine! Hury up, this wine is not in the standard assortment. 18.5 points".
