Of course, but only for a very short period of time. Cirrhosis of the liver, scurvy, berri-berry, dehydration and starvation are hardly the best ways to go.

Nice idea for a thread

I'm almost ashame to admit I've only got one bottle left (Dr Loosen's simple off-dry riesling), I'm gonna buy some more, mostly whites.
Viktin's 07 white journey and probably a sauv-blanc I haven't tried yet from the 07 vintage (recommendations?). GHW gewurtz is usually nice to have around as well so it's an option.
Furthermore I'm interested in the new Galil Mt. Barbera and Recanati's 06 Barbera.

Hello,

I can list my last purchases, as for the next, who knows. First I will see what will the WIne Route "big sale" offer,
then will check the new Israeli releases, will enrich my so modest imported wine collection with:

Marques de Riscal, Reserva, Rioja, 2003
Some Barbera, maybe:
Cascina Orsolina, Barbera d'Asti Superiore, Bricco dei Cappuccini, Piedmont, 2004 that Rogov gave a WTN that looks like a good QPR
something from Tedeschi, during the tasting I will attend.

Some of last purchases:

Pelter T-Selection series
Yatir Forest
Carmel Kayumi CS 2005 - a sample for tasting
Yiron 2005 - a sample for tasting
Saslove 2005 CS and Caberent-Shiraz blend
Yatir, Viognier, 2007 - I heard that you can still get some by special shop made order from the winery

Following Eli, the list of recent purchases:

Yiron 2005
Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Saslove Adom Cabernet-Shiraz 2005
Pelter Cabernet-Shiraz 2006
Vitkin Pinot Noir 2006

Plans for the nearest future:

Carmel Kayumi Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Carmel Kayumi Shiraz 2005
Sea Horse Camus 2005

and several others that I'm waiting for, the problem being the lack of space in my wine fridge.

I think I'll concentrate on the 2005 Yiron and Yiron Syrah.
A bottle of the El-rom and the Yatir Forest if I can find them at a price I'm willing to pay...

Also maybe Kayoumi Shiraz, Recanati Reserve Syrah and Cabernet and Ella Valley when they release their 2005 wines.

My problem too...
I am not buying another fridge.
For now I left some of the latest purchases at the shop/winery.
As a more permanent solution I am looking at renting wine storage lockers.

Hi,

Life has its surprises, this evening I stopped by the liquidation sale at the "Superior-Wines" shop in Reshon-Lezion that is moving to a new unknown (yet) location. Everything was 20% off and some labels had "original" prices that were not updated.

I picked:

Saslove CS Reserved 2002
Bazelet Hagolan 2001
Amphorae CS 2003
Yarden Pinor Noir 2002

There where still some good stuff left, especially in the imported wine section.

Eli,

I wonder what are 20% off prices at RLZ. Should be only a little higher than regular prices at Haifa, I guess...

20% of:

Amphorae CS 2003 - 105
Bazelet Hagolan 2001 - 120
Saslove CS Reserved 2002 - 148

You will not find the last two so easily
