Hi John, thanks for the interest. I really thought I would get my Kamado grill this weekend, but alas I suppose it is not to be. Yes, I got a 6'x11'x4" concrete pad poured and it is ready for delivery when the grill arrives. I know that the company making and selling the grill has billed my credit card for the balance and that is supposed to happen upon shipping, so it can't be long now. The grill takes a seasoning which will take a week or more, and then, I wil send out invitations to the entire forum. I will be doing some pork butts, some spare ribs, some brisket and I think I have a case or two of wine that will go with the grilled meats. You will get the very first invite too. Anyone wishing to see what this thing looks like can go to http://www.kamado.com and right there on the front page is my grill right down to the correct color!.

Man, I wish you lived in Sacramento!!!!

Mike

Letterman asked Zevon if his condition had taught him anything about life and death. ''How much you're supposed to enjoy every sandwich,'' Zevon answered. (From a 2003 NYTimes article on Zevon by Jon Pareles.)

Man, I wish I did too, wine would be cheaper there than here! :-) Mike, if you EVER get out this way, just let me know!
