Sunday breakfast?

by Larry Greenly » Sun Feb 04, 2007 11:03 am

As I type this, I hear my first wife moving around her lair in the room above me. It's time to make her Sunday breakfast (a special tradition for many years).

It's going to be buttermilk scones, bacon and shirred eggs.

How 'bout you?

You are a sweet man. If any of my husbands had been like you, I would have kept one of them!

Just contemplating breakfast, but I'm leaning toward a fairly standard breakfast burrito, smothered red.

But I could switch to an omelet with green chile and extra sharp cheddar, with a side of bacon.

Hmm.

Simple one this morning.....fresh fruit consisting of mango, and orange slices, a few black grapes. One slice toasted flax seed bread, sprinkled with parmesan (the good kind) topped with a sunny side up egg.
Oh, and small glass tomato juice spiked with Chipotle Tabasco.

It's going to be handcuffs, a holding tank, and 48 hours observation.

Mary took over the kitchen this morning and made us a batch of popovers. With a little Beurre d'Isigny and a small bowl of fruit, mmm, mmm!

Oops. I forgot to mention the handcuffs, but there's no police involved here.
