Beef short ribs

Postby Jon Peterson » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:25 pm

I picked up some beef short ribs today but I don't want to slow cook them or braise them. Any suggestions?

Problem is, beef short ribs are not tender meat. They're chewy and difficult to eat without some form of slow cooking.

You guys aren't thinking outside the box! He could always grind them and form them into patties! :D

Or maybe slice them very, very, very thin, braise and substitute for chipped beef on SOS?

That's a very good point, Jenise. I guess I'll braise them on the Webber somehow.

No grinding, Ribin. :)
