Actually -- I was looking for a recipe in "The Elote Cafe Cookbook" by Jeff Smedstad.

And the Carnitas recipe was looking really good to me.

Guess what you soak the pork in? Coca Cola. Somehow that almost makes me want this smoker.

I don't have a smoker, just my Weber kettle.

I totally want to get into long-cooked Mexican style meats, sooner or later. Especially chivo = goat...

Very cool! Thanks for the link. I don't have a grill with the famous logo but do own a couple smaller size Coca Cola coolers that I adore. My favorite is a cherry red replica with silver chrome handles and the "Drink Coca-Cola In Bottles" in white paint. It's great for picnics. Along with a few of the fizzy brown bottles...
