Re: RCP: Finally, a go-to biscuit recipe

I've made biscuits using this recipe a couple of times since Jenise posted it, and I have to say that my biscuit making has improved accordingly (I didn't inherit my Grandma's successful-biscuit gene, apparently).
I made it again this morning, with a twist: I had ordered some Vietnamese cinnamon from Penzeys (along with some vanilla beans to make extract), and sprinkled a little cinnamon on the biscuit dough before each fold-over (about 2 tsp in total). Ate the finished biscuits with sourwood honey, and both Gail and myself gave it a big thumb's-up, although Gail thought it needed a bit more cinnamon. I thought it was just right, as that cinnamon is very intense.
