My garlics arrived

I asked for the maximum asst that would grow best in NM. I received 2 bulbs each of:
German White
Killarney Red
Persian Star
Silver White
Khabar
A friend shared the cost and it'll be easy to divvy up the shipment. Now I have to prepare my bed. I share shallots and African violets; perhaps I can get some trading going once my garlic starts producing.
What are your favorite garlics? And what, if any, garlics do you grow?
