Ah, Bob, Jenise just got tired of the wine riff-raff always knocking at her door!

I've heard when you go to her place now and ring her up from the gate she takes a look at the tv picture and says, "Que? Que? The Senora is not home for now."

That's funny, Hoke. Thanks for a chuckle. :-)

[The very idea of Jenise turning away a wine lover ... priceless. ]

Well, I know of at least one she would turn away. But that person doesn't show up any more. :)

But yeah, of course you're right. Jenise is the soul of warmth and hospitality.

LOL, Hoke, but no TV cameras here. And no people who speak Spanish. The good part of this neighborhood is that almost no one has 'help'. It's actually an interesting cross-section of society with a couple million plus dollar homes but the majority are nothing of the sort. The guard gate was not even part of the original plan, but something added when it seemed that the majority of property sales went to Canadians buying modest vacation homes. 24 hour security was an amenity to absentee owners, not status-seekers. But of course in California that's what you're used to, so I forgive you for assuming otherwise.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

How planned can it be if they let you in?
