Yesterday evening, my nextdoor neighbor and his son grabbed a couple fishing poles and walked the 200 feet of beach from their house to the jetty that is the opening to my neighborhood marina. Twenty minutes later, they pulled a 6-7 lb coho (silver) salmon out of the water and reported several other hits.

Gotta get me a pole.
